McRaven House is haunted and tours are offered that allow visitors to explore the creepy and intriguing past of this old manor.
While daytime visits may provide a dose of chills and thrills, those who brave a nighttime tour are in for the full experience.
Unfortunately, our schedule only allowed for a daylight visit. Still, we were able to witness the fascinating progression of the
house’s different eras, from its small beginnings with just one window to its grander later additions. Each section has its
own haunting tale to tell, with even a connection to the Civil War in the third part of the house.
This ghostly residence has gained attention through various TV shows and magazines,
earning it the title of “time capsule of the South” due to its unique combination of three different time periods within its walls.
